Update.

Well, here we are, almost to February. Things are going ok. Last Thursday, though, I ended up in the emergency room. Since that Saturday before, I had started to have mild tingling/numbness in my left hand, and it got worse as the week went on. On Wednesday night I had a few hours of the same sensations in my face and in my arms and it lasted for a few hours, but it went away, but I still had the sensation in my left hand. What scared me was the face and arms, so after Eric got back from work on Thursday we went to the ER. I took my bee pollen with me, just in case. They did numerous tests, an EKG, bloodwork, pee test, chest x-ray. All came back normal, except for one thing--they said my calcium levels were almost completely depleted, and they said that that could cause tingling/numbness, and the bee pollen could have been a factor, so I needed to stop taking it. So I have been off the bee pollen since then. I have a follow up appointment with my PCM on base on February 3rd.

But, I'm not going back to my old ways. I thought of different things I could do. I went to Wal-Mart and got all the stuff I needed to start the Slim Fast diet, got plenty of fruit, as well. Today was my first day. I did well, and I am determined, so I think it will work!!

Other than that, things are going well. Nothing anything too exciting to report!

  1. It's a bummer about the bee pollen, but I believe you can do the weight loss other ways :)

  2. Yeah, I'm determined to do it. I am on my 2nd day of the Slim Fast and I have tried the slim fast in the past, and usually by the 2nd day I'm like, eh....whatever, I'm going to go back to eating cereal for breakfast and a sandwich for lunch, but I'm still chugging along! I've been seeing results and I want to keep seeing results!
