Yes, You Can Have An Opinion.....but it just sucks!!!

GAH!!! That's my feelings here lately on having to be stuck here in New Mexico. I can't help but feel bitter when I think we were supposed to be in Arkansas right now, in our own house, with the jacuzzi tub, huge yard, and living lakeside. Instead, we are stuck here, in this rathole, where my allergies are a constant bother to me EVERY SINGLE DAY. I have trouble breathing, my eyes are red pretty much 80% of the time, I am coughing 90% of the time, I have trouble sleeping because of the allergies and drainage in my throat. They wouldn't do my allergy test because my breathing levels were below 80%. THAT SHOULD HAVE told them something! Just give me the darn allergy shot, I will pay any amount of money for it! Or give me a nebulizer, something! I have a doctors appointment on Monday, and if my nitwit doctor just tries to switch allergy meds again, I don't care if he's running short on time, I'm going to raise some hell. I'm tired of this crap.

Another thing I can't stand. Whenever you have a negative opinion on Clovis, you get ripped for it. You can't have ANYTHING but sunshine and rainbows for this place.

I know if I hear one more time "this place is what you make of it", I will truly go nuts.

"You've Just Got to Make The Best of It"

You don't know how many times I have heard that phrase regarding our stay here at Cannon. Oh my goodness I am so sick of it!! Things here at Cannon pretty much suck. The people who say that, I'm pretty sure that things for them don't suck. It doesn't help matters much that when I think that yeah, by  now we were supposed to be out of this craphole and in Little Rock, it just makes me more bitter about Cannon.

Besides my husband, I am pretty much sick of everything here in New Mexico.

Well now.

I don't even know where to begin. My last actual post was about finally getting out of Clovis. All up until last week (two weeks until our final out from Cannon) my husband got the news that his orders had been cancelled. Distraught? To say the least. Considering we were already under contract with a house in Arkansas. But luckily that has all been taken care of. No harm, no foul.

Now that the crap has rained down on us.....just gotta pick up the pieces and start "living it up in Clovis".

Weight Loss February Update

I have been back at the Bee Pollen for about 2 weeks now. Doctor approval!! Here is a February update picture: 30 pounds down, 14 inches lost off of the waist.

Welcome February!

January went by kinda fast. February is going by kinda fast too, here we are, almost to the 3rd of February. Hmm...let's see, what all has happened since I last blogged. I went off of the bee pollen, because a doctor at the ER told me to, I went on the Slim Fast diet about two weeks ago. I weighed myself last night and measured my waist. Much to my despair my waist has gained two inches, and I have gained two pounds. Eric and I have talked about it, since I wasn't having any other problems other than my calcium levels being down to nothing with the Bee Pollen, which I am taking calcium tablets now, and a good multi vitamin, I am going to start the bee pollen again tomorrow since it worked for me so well. Here goes!!

My friend/cousin Marla that moved out here to Cannon in with her husband, texted me at the beginning of last week and asked if I'd be interested in going back to West Virginia with her next month while her husband goes TDY. I asked her if she was nuts that she even had to ask, lol! So Marla and I will be headed to West Virginia at the end of March for 3 weeks. We are so excited!

Update.

Well, here we are, almost to February. Things are going ok. Last Thursday, though, I ended up in the emergency room. Since that Saturday before, I had started to have mild tingling/numbness in my left hand, and it got worse as the week went on. On Wednesday night I had a few hours of the same sensations in my face and in my arms and it lasted for a few hours, but it went away, but I still had the sensation in my left hand. What scared me was the face and arms, so after Eric got back from work on Thursday we went to the ER. I took my bee pollen with me, just in case. They did numerous tests, an EKG, bloodwork, pee test, chest x-ray. All came back normal, except for one thing--they said my calcium levels were almost completely depleted, and they said that that could cause tingling/numbness, and the bee pollen could have been a factor, so I needed to stop taking it. So I have been off the bee pollen since then. I have a follow up appointment with my PCM on base on February 3rd.


But, I'm not going back to my old ways. I thought of different things I could do. I went to Wal-Mart and got all the stuff I needed to start the Slim Fast diet, got plenty of fruit, as well. Today was my first day. I did well, and I am determined, so I think it will work!!

Other than that, things are going well. Nothing anything too exciting to report!

New Year!

We got back from West Virginia a couple days ago. We spent Christmas and New Years there, it was wonderful, and we were sad to come back to the craphole. After I get done I will upload a couple of pictures from the trip.

I have now been on the Bee Pollen for almost 2 months now.....I have lost close to 30 pounds, and 11 inches off of my waist. I got a lot of compliments from my family and friends on how I look while we were home.
